Makrolon® is mainly offered unreinforced, filled/reinforced, flame retardant, but also conductive or lubricated.

In its unreinforced form, Makrolon® is mainly used for CDs, DVDs, lamp covers and glazing. Due to its good weather resistance and impact strength, the plastic is often a component of car headlights and protective helmets including visors. Makrolon® is used in multi-skin and corrugated sheets, skylights and the housing of fine household appliances. However, Makrolon® can also be found in precision parts in the optics industry and glass-fibre reinforced in the electrical and electronics industry.
