Santoprene (trade name of ExxonMobil) is a thermoplastic elastomer made from PP/EPDM and is therefore a dimensionally stable, but nevertheless elastically deformable plastic that is characterized by good resilience and weather resistance. Santoprene is mainly used unreinforced, but can also be modified for good adhesion to PE, PP, PS, PA, POM, etc. types of raw materials offered.

Due to its diverse properties, Santoprene is used in all areas of the automotive industry, but also as an electrical insulating material and in seals. Other areas of application include handles for tools and sports equipment, general soft-touch applications, cable sheathing, hoses and diving equipment.
